Normcore Ultra-Slim Puck Screen 57.5mm (0.8mm, 316 stainless)

verified · 10 August 2026

Fits these machines

A puck screen sits on top of the tamped puck, between the coffee and the shower screen. It spreads the incoming water across the whole bed instead of letting it drill in wherever the stream happens to land, and it keeps the group noticeably cleaner because grounds are not pushed up into the screen at the end of the shot.

This is the ultra-slim version at 0.8mm — thin enough that it costs almost no headroom in the basket, which matters more on a 57mm machine than on a deep 58mm prosumer group. 316 stainless steel; Normcore also offers a 0.2mm (200µm) Titanium PVD variant.

Sizing, and why 57.5mm

Normcore makes this screen in 49, 51, 53.3, 57.5 and 58.5mm. The screen sits inside the basket, so it is always slightly smaller than the nominal portafilter figure — 57.5mm is the one Normcore builds for the 57mm format, and its “57mm Fits Lelit” collection states the products in it are “built to a 57mm portafilter diameter and fits Lelit 57 Group espresso machines”.

That is the Lelit Anna here — the only LELIT57 machine in this database. Do not substitute the 58.5mm screen: the Anna’s format is a different size standard, not a rounding difference. See why 58mm isn’t one standard.

Pair it with the 57mm IMS B64 basket, the LELIT57 tamper and the LELIT57 bottomless holder.
