The deepest 54mm basket IMS makes in the competition line — 28mm, rated 18–22g for a dark roast and up to 20–23g for a light one. That is well beyond what Breville’s stock 54mm baskets are built around, and it is the reason this variant exists: light, high-dose recipes need the headroom.
Same B62 geometry as the rest of the family — Ø62.5mm border, Ø54mm internal body, ridgeless, 583 E holes at 0.30mm over a Ø44mm perforated area, for a Ø53/53.4mm tamper — with the extra depth going entirely into puck height.
Check your headroom before buying this one. A deeper basket puts the puck closer to the shower screen, and on a 54mm machine there is less room to give than on a 58mm prosumer group. IMS lists Breville/Sage compatibility for the whole B62 family and does not qualify it by height, and we do not add a qualification IMS has not published — but if you currently run a 22 or 24mm basket at a modest dose, the 26mm is the smaller step up.
