## Notes

De'Longhi's own **bottomless (naked) portafilter** for its 51mm machines, with a
rosewood handle. Removing the spout exposes the underside of the basket so you
can watch the extraction directly — even, mirror-like flow means an evenly
tamped, evenly distributed puck, while sprays and jets pinpoint channelling. It
is the single most useful tool for dialling in a grind, which is why "De'Longhi
bottomless portafilter" is a common search among Dedica and La Specialista
owners.

De'Longhi's page states it is **"51mm DIAMETER"** and **"Compatible with all
De'Longhi La Specialista and De'Longhi Dedica Maestro models"** — De'Longhi's
own 51mm portafilter standard, which is not interchangeable with 54mm Breville
